\"Timeglasset\" (The Hourglass) is a striking and cohesive underpass in Kildedal, creating a simple architectural landmark in the landscape. The underpass ensures a safe and direct connection for pedestrians and cyclists across the railroad embankment, and is designed with curved wing walls and a curved ceiling that create an open and clear space.<\/p>

The project connects central parts of the upcoming Kildedal Town Park with the park's southern areas and integration into the park\u2019s stormwater management. A continuous water feature runs beneath the tracks, where the path is carried on an embankment through the watercourse.<\/p>

\"Timeglasset\" is part of an integrated infrastructure and urban space project that, with a focus on light and spaciousness, connects neighborhoods, recreational paths, and green corridors across the railroad.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

JUN has assisted as client advisor for Kildedal in connection with the tender documents for the \"Timeglas\" project. The overall design guidelines had already been established when JUN joined the project. Our advisory services focused on qualifying, detailing, and securing the project baseline leading up to the tender.<\/p>

JUN has handled the following tasks as client advisor for Kildedal P\/S (the Kildedal Urban Development Company):<\/p>

  • Advising the client on project scope, risks, and decision-making requirements leading up to the tender.<\/li>
  • Developing and qualifying the master schedule through completion, including identifying milestones and ensuring alignment with permitting and tendering processes.<\/li>
  • Reviewing and commenting on engineering and architectural designs, focusing on budget, feasibility, operational conditions, and the cohesion between structural, civil, and landscape elements prior to tendering.<\/li>
  • Identifying risks and key areas of concern, as well as providing recommendations for the tender documents.<\/li>
  • Reviewing and commenting on site layout principles, access conditions, and temporary traffic and logistics solutions, focusing on constructability, safety, and community impact.<\/li>
  • Clarifying and reviewing the project interfaces with adjacent civil works, infrastructure, and other developments in the area.<\/li>
  • Assisting with procurement strategy, including the selection and structuring of the tender method based on the established project parameters.<\/li>
  • Advising on the CSM (Common Safety Method) process, including ensuring that the project baseline supports subsequent processing leading up to construction.<\/li>
